On the morning of 27 October 2022, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chaired the Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting at the ASEAN Secretariat to deliberate on ways to better implement the Five-Point Consensus (5PC) endorsed by the ASEAN Leaders' Meeting on 24 April 2021 and to propose recommendations the ASEAN Leaders’ consideration at the 40^th and 41^st ASEAN Summits. A non-political representative from Myanmar was invited to the Meeting; however, the invitation was met with no positive response.
